the first announcements wah
WELCOME TO EVOCATE!! oh god it's game start oh geez oh man time is fake
But in all seriousness, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE for playing on the TDM and apping and being excited about what's to come! I really love teamnesia games and wanting to do it in reverse like this has been an idea in my head for a few years. It's only recently that I worked up the nerve to actually put it into motion. So again, thank you. ♥
I will try to tl;dr this at the end but apologies if this is long!
Apps are staying open! At least for now.
You must join the game discord if you've been accepted. That's where all of the announcements will go, so you don't want to miss anything! You don't have to be active but you do need to be in the server. If you're seeing this you're probably there but ya know.
NAMES: As per this post, you have lost your names! These are names that hold a significant importance and I therefore leave that interpretation up to you. This doesn't apply to nicknames from past PGAUs if you don't want it to, so PGAUs can use their nicknames if they want.
NPCS: I will have more information about the ones you've met next week! In the meantime, maybe you can help them with some names?
SPARKS: Like I said in your app, right now you're with the memoirs. I'm still sorting you guys but your Paragons will whisk you away soon. ♥ If you want to be open about this or keep it a secret, the choice is up to you.
PARAGONS: If you're interested in playing one let me know! You do not have to run games!
EXPLORING: You are more than encouraged to explore and come up with different places your character might come across, so if you want to find an old diner up the street from the hotel for example, then hell yeah. Just keep in mind that it's dangerous out there and you will very likely be attacked in newer areas, at least until the area has been fully discovered.
You don't need my permission to do your own exploring! You're more than welcome to poke me if you need some direction, though! And if you do come up with a place and want it added to the setting, then drop the description and location of it in the settings channel!
Once the game gets going I'll start organizing more involved explorations that I'll run for different groups. :D More details on that to come!
POWERS: Are at level 30! However, if you have a summon or familiar or etc that you want to be able to call up, then you're allowed! They won't have their powers but they can be your emotional support.
DEATH: Just don't die. Shouldn't be too hard, right? laughtrack.mp3
SLEEPING: Everyone will be sleeping on the hotel grounds somewhere! If you try to sleep somewhere else in the city, then a large robed figure will come find you at 11:59pm and literally drag you back. It's immune to attacks and will scruff you if it has to.
However! You can sleep anywhere on the first floor of the hotel or outside on the grounds. Want to sleep behind the registration desk? Go for it even if the NPCs will look at you strange. Or maybe you want to camp outside behind the building? Well okay do it, ya weirdo.
CEREMONIES: FILL OUT THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY.
I'm looking to run the first Ceremony either next weekend or the one after. I'll toss a poll up in the discord so go let me know what you prefer!
